This is a wonderful old country house located on a hill with a view into the distance. It's a 5-minute drive on a country dirt road when you get off the asphalt (that's not a problem, you just need to drive slower). There are a few more houses near it, so you don't feel yourself. The house has been completely restored and modernized, while authentic elements (doors, tiles, fence...) have been kept. The kitchen is all made of wood, has a stove and an induction stove, and absolutely everything you need to prepare food. The beds in the bedroom are comfortable, my husband and I really rested. The living room is spacious and can sleep two more people. Around the house there is a wonderful view of the surrounding hills and distant mountain peaks, and the amount of stars that can be seen at night is completely incredible. It also has a terrace and a garden and a part fenced off for barbecue, so we roasted the corn that the hosts gave us there. They are really great, kind and helpful people. Zeljko explained to us how to get to the house and welcomed us, and the wonderful Marija prepared a fantastic lunch in their restaurant, which is located 10 minutes by car from our house. For lunch, we had homemade soup, veal with potatoes, mushroom risotto, zucchini salad, fried peppers with cheese and old-fashioned poppy seed cakes. In their restaurant, it is possible to pay for both breakfast and dinner, and all the food is homemade, starting with eggs, milk, cheese, vegetables... We felt like we were staying with relatives. Congratulations to the Sredic family, we will definitely be back.
